Bibrat Ranjan Pradhan is a Data Science Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India with over 4 years of relevant experience. He is a Python/Lua Developer for Deep Learning and works with Pytorch, Torch, and Tensorflow frameworks. He aspires to grow rapidly with his efficient work and leadership qualities. He believes that acquiring new skills has to be a continuous process with an ever-consistent learning curve. Bibrat has worked as a Python Developer in Machine/Deep Learning at the Department of Computational and Data Sciences, IISc. During his tenure, he handled small projects like Image Classification using CNN and House Price Prediction using Regression. He also conducted a Comparative Study of different classifiers for classification of Documents and Handwritten Digits Recognition using Naive Bayes, Random Forest, Ada-boost, XG-boost, K-Nearest Neighbours, K-Means Clustering, Multi-class Perception, Logistic Regression, and Support Vector Machines. He has worked on various projects such as Context-Based Image Retrieval and Apparel Classification using CNN, Document Denoising using Encoder Decoder Model, Face Detection using OpenCV, Semantic Segmentation using ENet Model, and Salient region detection in Images/Videos using OpenCV. He has also worked on Anomaly Detection in Neuromorphic simulated videos of UMN dataset using U-Net architecture, and his ongoing projects include Activity Recognition on Neuromorphic and RGB videos. He is currently working on Autonomous Navigation using Sound Localization and Computer Vision in collaboration with Neuronics Lab, D.E.S.E Department, I.I.Sc. Before joining the Department of Computational and Data Sciences, IISc, Bibrat worked as an ASP.NET Developer at Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology. During his tenure, he developed the frontend in C# and backend in ASP and worked with SQLServer as a website database. He built interactive web pages and styled web pages. Bibrat has a Master's degree in Technology from IISc, where he studied Deep Learning in Computer Vision. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang. He completed his schooling from St. Xavier's High School, Bhubaneswar.
